A memorial service for Sandra June Hickox, 63, a Carson City resident for the past six years, will be at 3 p.m. Saturday at Walton's Chapel of the Valley.
Mrs. Hickox died March 1, 2004, in Carson City. She was born Sept. 26, 1940, in San Francisco, to Thomas and Muriel Potter Sivell.
She married Daniel Hickox in 1963.
Before moving to Carson City, she lived in San Francisco.
Mrs. Hickox was a homemaker. She enjoyed arts and crafts, cooking and spending time with her family. She was a Catholic and attended St. Teresa Catholic Church.
She was preceded in death by her son, Gerald, in 1976.
Among her survivors are her husband of Carson City; sons and daughters-in-law Thomas and Nancy of San Francisco and Charles and Ruth of Gardnerville; daughter, Christine Astabie of Novato, Calif.; niece, Melissa Caldwell of Carson City; and grandchildren Janet and Sandra Astabie, Thomas Hickox Jr. and Lindsey Hickox and Daniel and Hanna Hickox.
Burial will be at St. Francis Solano Cemetery in Sonoma, Calif.
Walton's Chapel of the Valley is in charge of arrangements.
