Jerry Wade, a Carson City resident for the past three years died March 4, 2004, in Carson City. He was born Feb. 16, 1952, in Auburn. Calif., to Jessie and Gloria Lawson Wade. He was 52.
Mr. Wade worked as a construction laborer and lived in Sacramento before moving to Carson City.
He was a Baptist. He enjoyed the outdoors, hunting, fishing, camping, cooking and spending time with his family and friends.
Among his survivors are his wife, Gwen Lay of Carson City; daughter Crystal Gayle Wade of Blythe, Calif.; sisters Cheryl Lynette Wade and Rhonda Kay Wade, both of Reno, and Kimberly Michelle Nelson of Kansas City, Mo.; brothers Allen and Ronald Michael, both of Sacramento, Jerry Michael of Vacaville, Calif., and Ricky Ray of Montague, Calif.; and 15 grand and step-grandchildren.
Walton's Chapel of the Valley is in charge of arrangements.
