A service for Noel Robert Rudd, 70, a Carson City resident for the past 18 years, will be at 4 p.m. Saturday at Kingdom Hall of Jehovah's Witnesses on College Parkway.
Mr. Rudd died March 5, 2004, at Carson-Tahoe Hospital. He was born Dec. 23, 1933, in Norwich, England, to William and Lena Harriet Baker Rudd.
He married Brenda Pacina April 20, 1985, in Old Sacramento.
Mr. Rudd was a carpenter and owned ABATS Bookkeeping & Tax Service in Carson City. He loved soccer and was a coach for several years. He was a Jehovah's Witness.
He served in the Royal Air Force in England.
He was preceded in death by his brother John Haigh and a sister.
Among his survivors are his wife of Carson City; sons Iain of Springville, Utah, and Paul of Simi Valley, Calif.; sister Dorian Haigh of England; twin brother Dennis of England; and eight grandchildren.
Capital City Cremation and Burial Society is in charge of arrangements.
