An inurnment service will be noon today for Alice Marie Azelton, 74, a 23-year Minden resident, at Eastside Memorial Park in Minden. Mrs. Azelton died March 10, 2004, at her home.
Born Sept. 6, 1929, in Flint, Mich., to William and Emma Girard, she had 14 brothers and sisters. She married Claud Azelton, who preceded her in death on Jan. 3, 1993.
Mrs. Azelton was a homemaker who lived in Simi Valley, Calif., for 22 years prior to moving to Minden.
She is survived by daughters and sons-in law Judy and Michael Bray and Terri and Jim Grey, all of Carson Valley; son and daughter-in-law Claud and DeAnna Azelton of Carson Valley; grandchildren Brandi Bray-Torres, Scott Kunz, Christel Passink and Tawny Azelton; and great-grandchildren Taylor, Tyler, Nathan and Hailey.
Cremation will be at FitzHenry's Crematory in Carson City.
FitzHenry's Carson Valley Funeral Home in Gardnerville is in charge of arrangements.
