C.N. Paul Thuot, 91, a Gardnerville resident for the past 20 years, died March 21, 2004, at Evergreen Health Care Center in Carson City. He was born July 14, 1912, in Fall River, Mass., to Henry and Eugenie Janson Thuot.
He was the retired owner of Suffolk Associates and Suffolk International (New York), marketers of industrial equipment and materials in the United States and abroad. He was a past member of Chemists, Plastic Engineers and Associates of Textile Chemists and Colorists. In his early years, he was associated with piano, musical instrument and broadcast trades.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Donalda; and daughter, Paula Williams.
Among his survivors are his grandchildren Donna Howell Murray of Yerington, Marc Howell of Havelock, N.C., Paul Howell of Gardnerville and Charles Howell of St. Louis; and 10 great-grandchildren.
A private family service will be at a later date.
Cremation will be at FitzHenry's Crematory. FitzHenry's Carson Valley Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
