Maurine Woolverton, 79, of Fallon, died Thursday, May 6 at St. Mary's in Reno.
She was born on June 11, 1924 in Salt Lake City to Maurice and Estella Pursell. Maurine had been a resident of Fallon for three years, coming previously from Reno.
She graduated from Elko County High School and married the love of her life, Alex Woolverton. They were married for 62 years.
She is survived by her husband, Alex, daughter Mary Sauer and son-in-law Wayne of Fallon; granddaughter Gretchen Sauer of Pasadena, Calif.; granddaughter Paige Sauer of Fairfield, Conn,; and grandson Bryce Sauer of Fallon.
Per her request, no funeral services will be held. A celebration of her life will be held at a later date.
