The certified public accounting firm of Kafoury, Armstrong & Co.
said it has hired Tammy Love as a manager and Daniel E.
Rushin to serve as senior accountant.
In her new role, Love will work as a tax coordinator, which includes coordinating with staff, checking returns, preparing taxes, and direct contact with clients.
She will also play an active role in audit engagements.
Love, a licensed CPA in Nevada and Michigan, brings more than seven years of experience in the industry.
She earned a bachelor of science in psychology and a bachelor of business administration in accounting from Eastern Michigan University and most recently a master of accountancy from the University of Nevada, Reno.
Rushin brings six years of experience to his new position.
He will be responsible for preparing income tax returns and participating in auditing engagements.
Prior to joining Kafoury, Armstrong & Co., Rushin worked as a senior accountant for Fester and Chapman P.C.
in Phoenix, where he managed numerous audit engagements of counties, cities, and non-profit entities.
Rushin earned a bachelor of science in business administration from the University of Nevada, Reno.
