Dale Doerr has been promoted to director of landscape architecture and planning at CFA Inc., a planning, engineering, and landscape architecture firm in Reno.
His background includes more than 25 years of city and regional planning, subdivision design, park and recreation planning, and landscape design, including planting and irrigation plans.
Doerr graduated from Utah State University and has professional licenses in California and Nevada.
He has lived in Reno more than 24 years with his wife and two children.
He is a volunteer for Habitat for Humanity and a member of the Public Arts Committee for the City of Reno.
Doerr recently accepted two awards from the Nevada Recreation and Park Society - the 2004 Elmer H.
Anderson Award for the design of the South Valleys Regional Sports Complex, Phase 2, and for the Rose Garden at Wingfield Springs.
