Neva Lois Huffman, 92, a Carson City resident for the past few years, died Nov. 15, 2004, in Carson City.
She was born Sept. 25, 1912, in Auburn, Kan.
She graduated from Central College, McPherson, Kan., in 1930 at the age of 18 and began teaching in a one-room school house.
She attended Central Business College in Kansas City and worked as a secretary. She was a member of the Church of the Nazarene.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Elmo.
Among her survivors are a daughter, a son, two granddaughters and one great-granddaughter.
Burial will be at Mount Vernon Memorial Park, Fair Oaks, Calif.
