Send us your holiday memories

Holiday memories from our readers are a tradition for the Nevada Appeal.

The Appeal is asking you to write about your favorite holiday memory and send it in by Dec. 15. You may also include a photo, if you like.

For the eighth year, we are asking you to write about that special gift, unexpected visit, memorable act of kindness or holiday season spent far from home - the one-of-a-kind moments that are both personal and universal. Some holiday memories are sad; some are funny. These deserve to be shared.

We will publish as many of the stories as we can in the days before Christmas. Stories should be true, typed if possible and no longer than 500 words. Include a name and phone number.
