A funeral for Corrine Josephine "Connie" Pehrson, 77, a Carson City resident for the past 11 years, will be at 11 a.m. today at Washburn-McReary Chapel in Minneapolis.
Mrs. Pehrson died Oct. 11, 2004, at home. She was born Nov. 7, 1927, in Aberdeen, S.D., to Fay and Ollie Ramsey Shutcs.
Before moving to Carson City, she lived for 13 years in California, 39 years in Minnesota and 14 years in South Dakota.
She married David Pehrson Nov. 22, 1966, in Minneapolis.
Mrs. Pehrson retired from Minneapolis Honeywell.
She loved animals and supported animal shelters. She was a Protestant.
Among her survivors are her husband of Carson City; daughter and son-in-law, Katherine and Robert Tschida of Minnetonka, Minn.; grandsons Eric Tschida of Apple Valley, Minn., Troy Tschida of Austin, Texas, and Adam Tschida of Plymouth, Minn.; and brother, George Shutcs of Minneapolis.
Burial will be at the Fort Snelling National Cemetery in Minneapolis.
FitzHenry's Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
