West Marine, Inc., the nation's largest specialty retailer of boating supplies and apparel, has opened a 6,000-square-foot store at 2505 Mill St.
The store is the first in northern Nevada for the company based at Watsonville, Calif.
The company operates 365 stores in 38 states, Canada and Puerto Rico with annual sales of more than $660 million.
