The Reno-Tahoe chapter of the American Marketing Association has been honored by the national headquarters for the American Marketing Association as Turnaround Chapter of the Year.
The chapter also received an award of special merit for programming.
Samantha Fleischer, Reno-Tahoe AMA's president, said the group has tripled attendance at monthly luncheons, increased membership more than 35 percent and has the highest membership retention rate in the nation.
