Jacqueline Lee Langston, 67, of Carson City died Sept. 4, 2004, at Mountain Springs Care Center. She was born Aug. 4, 1937, in Waynesberg, Pa., to Julia Petroff.

She lived in Walker, Calif., for the past 10 years, moving from Westminster, Calif.

Mrs. Langston was an office manager for the court system in Orange County, Calif. She was a past member of the Valley Friendship Circle in Walker. She enjoyed camping, hunting and fishing and had an appreciation for the local history.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Donald, in 2002, in Walker.

Among her survivors are her daughter, Cheryl Davis, of Dayton; brothers Ray Dawson of Redding, Calif., and James Hedgecock of Boulder, Mont.; sister, Carole Smith of Pollock Pines, Calif.; grandchildren Craig Davis and Ross Pena of Dayton; a grand-nephew; a niece; and three nephews.

Cremation will be at FitzHenry's Crematory.

FitzHenry's Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
