Here are the 2005 winners at the Eighth Annual John Riordan Topaz Lake Invitational Fishing Derby:

Catfish:

1. Bob ("Slick") McCulloch (15 1/2 ounces at Fort Churchill Cooling Ponds).

2. Bob ("Slick") McCulloch (15 1/8 ounces).

3. Joe Tamburino (15 ounces).

3. Doug Collins (15 ounces).

Cutthroat trout:

1. Don Hettrick (3 pounds, 2 1/2 ounces at Walker Lake).

2. Carl Inman (2 pounds, 15 ounces).

3. Don Quilici (2 pounds, 13 ounces).

Rainbow trout:

1. Norm Budden (2 pounds, 4 ounces at Hinkson Slough).

2. Ed Fabray (1 pound, 12 1/8 ounces).

3. Bob Meredith (1 pound, 9 ounces).

3. Fred Jones (1 pound, 9 ounces).

German brown trout: None caught for second straight year.

Heaviest fish: Hettrick.

There were 92 fishermen in the three-day derby.
