Three Carson City residents arrested in connection with drug investigation

Three Carson City residents were arrested Thursday on drug charges out of Lyon County and Carson City following a four-month investigation by the Lyon County Sheriff's Narcotics Division.

Officers allegedly recovered 27.6 grams of methamphetamine, illegal prescription drugs, narcotic paraphernalia, two stolen motorcycles and a stolen all-terrain vehicle after a search of residence No. 99 at 600 Hot Springs Road. Police said buys of methamphetamine were made by undercover officers in both Lyon County and Carson City prior to the search.

Amy Courneya, 36, was arrested at the State of Nevada Public Employees Retirement System office where she works on suspicion of three counts of trafficking methamphetamine and one count of sale of methamphetamine out of Lyon County and Carson City. Her bail is set at $290,000. More charges are pending in Carson City and Douglas County as a result of the methamphetamine and stolen property allegedly recovered at her residence.

Donald Kelly Jr., 43, was arrested at the Hot Springs residence on suspicion of sale of methamphetamine, trafficking of methamphetamine, possession of methamphetamine for sale and possession of narcotic paraphernalia. His bail is set at $60,000. Additional charges are pending against him from Carson City and Douglas County.

Christina Davis, 35, was arrested at the residence on suspicion of probation violation by the Alternative Sentencing Unit.

The Nevada Division of Investigation TRI-NET narcotics task force, Carson City and Douglas County detectives divisions and officers from alternative sentencing assisted in Thursday's search.
