The following people were booked into the Carson City Jail. All suspects are innocent until proved guilty in court:

• A 50-year-old unemployed Dayton man was arrested Monday at 12:58 a.m. in the 1000 block of Medical Parkway on suspicion of misdemeanor battery and a warrant for failure to appear on a traffic citation. During treatment at Carson Tahoe Regional Medical Center, he allegedly grabbed the index finger of a nurse and threatened to break it off if she didn't stop pointing at him. Bail was set at $1,297.

The following are some of the calls to which deputies responded:

• Four vehicles were involved in an accident Monday at 8:09 a.m. at Highway 50 East and Rand Avenue.

• A drunken juvenile led police on a car chase at 4:05 a.m. Sunday.

• Two hundred dollars were stolen from a business in the 4700 block of South Carson Street sometime Saturday night.

• A garage was burglarized in the 4000 block of Village Drive sometime Sunday night.

• A woman went into the apartment of her recently deceased sister Sunday at 8:58 a.m. and found a man sleeping in the bed and a box of her sister's belongings by the door. When the woman woke the man, he said he worked for the apartment complex in the 600 block of East College Parkway and he was there to clean. The woman said the apartment was in worse shape than when she left it the previous evening. A report was taken.

• A man reported his 39-year-old brother missing at 8 p.m. Friday.

Lyon County

The following are some of the calls to which deputies responded Sunday:

• A drunken-driving arrest at 3:22 a.m. on Navajo Trail in Stagecoach.

• The coroner was called to the 300 block of Ben's Way in Fernley at 4:44 a.m.

• A misdemeanor arrest was made in Piper's parking lot at 7:20 a.m.

• Rollover accident on the southbound side of Highway 95 Alternate near the racetrack at 12:38 p.m.

• Fire on Spruce Drive in Silver Springs at 5:13 p.m.

Storey County

The following are some of the calls to which deputies responded Sunday:

• A theft report was taken at 2:36 p.m. on South C Street.

• Man reported at 5:39 p.m. he was locked out of his house by the landlord after paying his rent in Lockwood.

• Man kicked out of a South C Street bar was knocking on other doors and attempting to open shop doors at 10:16 p.m.
