Chapman launches CPA firm in Reno

Beth Speidel Chapman, a certified public accountant, has opened Speidel Chapman CPA LLC in Reno.

The practice is focused on small and entrepreneurial companies.

She previously worked 17 years for major firms including Grant Thornton LLP and Deloitte & Touche LLP, holding positions that included tax manager and senior tax manager.

She also served as chief financial officer for two entrepreneurial companies, one in Reno and one in St.

Louis,Mo.

Chapman holds a master's degree in taxation from Golden Gate University and a bachelor's degree in business from the University of Nevada, Reno.
