Golden Phoenix Minerals Inc.
said it sold its 30 percent interest in the Borealis Gold Project 12 miles southwest of Hawthorne to a subsidiary of Gryphon Gold Corp.
Sparks-based Golden Phoenix said Gryphon will pay $1.4 million for the property, with payments scheduled during the next year.
Golden Phoenix said in January it wants to focus its attention on its Mineral Ridge gold property and its Ashdown molybdenum property, both in Nevada.
