Donald R.
Curphey has been named senior principal engineer of geotechnical and construction materials engineering in the Reno office of MACTEC Engineering and Consulting, Inc.
His career includes public projects in northern Nevada such as the geotechnical investigation for the Carson City segment of U.S.
395 and construction management of the Nevada portion of a fiber optics line from Salt Lake City to Sacramento as well as private projects.
Curphey received bachelor's and master's degrees in civil engineering from California State University, Sacramento.
