Garden Shop Nursery of Reno last week was awarded a $323,381 bid for installation of improvements in the southwest corner of Virginia Lake Park in Reno.
The plan for the 2.5 acre area calls for a shore stabilization wall and landscaping, an accessible pathway with surrounding native landscaping materials, , seating areas , sundial and an alley of trees.
Work is expected to begin in the spring with completion scheduled for mid- to late summer.
