A memorial funeral Mass for Lucille A. Miltenberger, 84, a Carson City resident for the past 12 years, will be at 11 a.m. Monday at St. Teresa of Avila Catholic Church.

Mrs. Miltenberger died July 12, 2005, at Carson-Tahoe Hospital. She fought diabetes for 65 years.

She was born April 29, 1921, in Rugby, N.D., to Alex and Lyda Larson Mears.

She married Adam J. Miltenberger on Oct. 22, 1945, in Clarkston, Wash.

Before moving to Carson City, she lived in Vista, Calif., for nine years and in Reno for 30 years.

Mrs. Miltenberger was a homemaker. She was a member of St. Teresa of Avila church.

Among her survivors are her husband; sons and daughters-in-law Tarris A. and Vivian of Carson City and Dennis L. and Laurel of Vista; sisters Doris Witter of Everett, Wash., and Lois Tuff of Rugby; four grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.

Memorial contributions may be made to the American Diabetes Association.

Walton's Chapel of the Valley is in charge of arrangements.
