Associated Builders & Contractors recognizes apprentice graduates

Nineteen graduating apprentices were recognized last month by the Associated Builders & Contractors Sierra Nevada Chapter.The chapter also presented its Instructor of the Year awards to Justin Baldwin of Action Electric as electrical instructor of the year and Dale Lowery of D&D Plumbing as plumbing instructor of the year.Mark Thierman, a Reno attorney, was named a lifetime mmember of the chapter for his support of the merit-shop philosophy in construction.Graduates of the apprenticeship program included: Chris Rand, Charles Shuey, Dustin Palmer, James McMasters, Eric Dahlgren, Brian Beck, Dave Morandi (recipient of the top graduate award), Gabriel Hardin, Cimothy Halverson, Dan Herbert, Nathan Close, Mike Wood, Brian Vodehnal, Matt McGee, Gary Varner, Brandon Lowe, Brett Albisu,Warren Dikes and Ebon Wieser.
