Russ Romine, Tim Ruffin and Tom White have been appointed as business members on the council of Nevadaworks, the workforce development agency for northern Nevada.
Romaine is president of Griffin Transport Services, Ruffin is senior vice president of Colliers International and White is vice president for manufacturing at Haws Corp.
Current business representatives Jim Nelson, executive director of the Nevada Association of Employers; Wayne Robinson of Robinson Machinery Repair; Geoff Wilson, chief financial officer of Cal Neva Hotel Casino; and Kris Wells, area manager for external affairs at SBC have been reappointed to three-year terms.
