A 19-year-old Gardnerville Ranchos man accused along with his father of cultivating marijuana at their home was released from jail on his own recognizance.
East Fork Justice Jim EnEarl said Ryan Huddin and his 47-year-old father, Arnold, must stay at least 100 yards away from their Banner Drive residence where deputies found 110 marijuana plants, hashish and hallucinogenic mushrooms.
When processed, the plants totaled 2 1Ú2 pounds of marijuana.
EnEarl reduced Arnold Huddin's bail to $5,000 cash only.
Both suspects are subject to random search and seizure and must abstain from drugs and alcohol.
They are set to appear in Justice Court on Wednesday.
The two were arrested Monday after deputies were tipped to the marijuana operation in the 1300 block of Banner Drive.
Arnold Huddin said he had a Department of Agriculture permit that allowed him to grow marijuana for medical purposes.
The permit allows cultivation of seven plants and one ounce of dry marijuana.
In addition to the marijuana, deputies found 16.7 grams of hallucinogenic mushrooms, 47.6 grams of hashish and 43 prescription pills.
The Huddins each were charged with maintaining a place for unlawful use of a controlled substance, possession of a controlled substance for sale and possession of a controlled substance.
Originally, the Huddins were jailed on $50,000 bail each.
