Earl Harrison

Earl Harrison has been named manager of mines for Golden Phoenix Minerals Inc.

of Sparks.He'll have responsibility for the operation of the Ashdown molybdenum mine and Mineral Ridge gold mine.

Harrison is a 39-year veteran of the mining industry.He received his training at the Mackay School of Mines and University of Idaho School of Mines and has held mining management positions with Phillips Petroleum,United Mining and Homestead Minerals, among others.

Since September 2004 he has supervised preparatory work at the Ashdown molybdenum mine in northern Humboldt County.
