Investigators from the Nevada Department of Motor Vehicles' Compliance Enforcement Division have charged a Reno college student with six felonies involving the production and sale of fake driver's licenses.

Brandon Scott Wright, 19, was arrested at his room in the Sigma Nu fraternity house on Ralston Street. A DMV spokesman said officers confiscated 150 to 200 fake licenses in various stages of completion.

Investigators tracked the license factory after a confidential informant purchased a fake license from Christopher Peter Bosco, 19, of Truckee. Bosco faces two felony counts for his part in the case.

In addition to the phony licenses, investigators assisted by Reno police officers confiscated computer and camera equipment used to create the licenses. There was no known connection to a recent break-in at DMV offices in North Las Vegas.

Both Wright and Bosco were booked into the Washoe County Jail.
