A memorial service for Carson City resident Corky Borgman, 68, will be at 2 p.m. Monday at the Carson Valley Methodist Church in Gardnerville.
Mr. Borgman died March 17, 2005, in Reno. He was born July 2, 1936, in South Heart, N.D., to Martin and Bertha Borgman.
He graduated from Western Nevada Community College in 1987 with a degree in business management. He worked for Sears for 26 years and retired in 1978.
Mr. Borgman has lived in the Carson City and Dayton area for 26 years. Before that he lived in Sepulveda, Calif.
He enjoyed travel, woodworking, spending time with his family and friends and organizing family reunions.
Among his survivors are his wife of 49 years, Shirley, of Carson City; sons and daughters-in-law Martin J. and Pamela and Kym M. and Bonnie all of Carson City; sisters Mary Zacher and Martha Hutzenbiler both of Belfield, N.D.; brother John C. of Minot, N.D.; grandchildren Michael Borgman, Rebecca Borgman, Max Borgman and Katie Borgman.
Burial will be at Walton's Carson Gardens Cemetery in Carson City.

Walton's Chapel of the Valley is in charge of arrangements.
