Dora Marie Barth

Dora Marie Barth, 79, a Carson City resident for the past seven years, died March 7, 2005, at Washoe Medical Center. She was born May 23, 1925, in Salt Lake City, Utah, to Vertner and Hazel Newbold Schneider.

Before moving to Carson City, she lived in Oregon.

Mrs. Barth was a homemaker. She loved to dance and sing.

She was preceded in death by her daughter, Judy Hayward, and brother, Don Schneider, in 1973.

Among her survivors are her sisters Evelyn Norris and Virginia Lockhart, both of Dayton, Darlene Ramirez of Los Angeles, Viola Mitchell of San Diego, Calif., Marilyn Hand of Huntington Beach, Calif., and Carolyn Jellison of Carmichael, Calif.; brother, Buzzy Schneider of Oregon; and numerous nieces and nephews.

Capitol City Cremation & Burial Society is in charge of arrangements.
