Nicolas D. Rios, 81, a Carson City resident for the past 20 years, died May 3, 2005, at Tahoe Pacific Hospital. He was born Oct. 9, 1923, in Abasolo, in Guanajuato, Mexico, to Jose and Maria Delgado Rios.
Before moving to Carson City, he lived in San Jose, Calif.
Mr. Rios worked as a laborer at a foundry.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Maria, in 2001; and two brothers.
Among his survivors are seven sons; seven daughters; 50 grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren.
At his request, no service will be held.
Cremation will be at FitzHenry's Crematory.
FitzHenry's Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
