Iva Nadine Larson, 95, a Minden resident for the past 15 years, died May 9, 2005, at her home. She was born Oct. 28, 1909, in Baxter Springs, Kan., to Karl W. and Clara Embry Kain.
Before moving to Minden, she lived in Long Beach, Calif.
Mrs. Larson was past president of the Veterans of Foreign Wars Long Beach Auxiliary George Wallace White Post and served in various district and state offices of the VFW.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Larry in 1987.
Among her survivors are her nephew and wife, Dan and Sylvia Kain of Minden; niece and husband, Peggy and Rocky Sproull of Carson City; and numerous great-nieces and great-nephews.
Services and entombment will be at Angeles Abbey Memorial Park in Compton, Calif.
