A Carson City man was cited for riding his bicycle on the wrong side of the road after he was struck by a car on North Carson Street earlier this week.

Robert Nagle, 51, was treated and released with minor injuries following the 2:10 p.m. collision in front of Grocery Outlet.

According to the report from the Nevada Highway Patrol, Nagle was riding south on the sidewalk on the east side of Highway 395 when he was struck by a car driven by Morgan Beam, 18.

The report states Beam's "driver inattention" contributed to the collision when she didn't look to her right after watching northbound traffic for an opening.

Nagle was cited for riding on the wrong side of the road. Beam was not cited.
