Harriet A. Shea, 91, a Carson City resident for the past 35 years, died May 26, 2005, in Carson City. She was born Sept. 17, 1913, in Canton, Pa., to George Smith.
Before moving to Carson City, she lived in Sierra Madre, Calif.
Mrs. Shea graduated from nursing school and was a registered nurse.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Jack, in 2000.
Among her survivors are daughter and son-in-law, Kathleen and Tom Molzen of Sierra Madre; brother, Elwin Smith, of Canton; grandson, Maj. Craig Michael Short of Germany and great-grandchildren William Short and Evelyn Short of Germany.
At her request, there will be no service.
Cremation will be at Walton's Sierra Crematory.
Walton's Chapel of the Valley is in charge of arrangements.
