Dorothea May Francischine, 73, a Gardnerville resident for the past 12 years, died Nov. 3, 2005, at Carson Valley Medical Center.
She was born May 23, 1932, in Johnstown, Pa., to Solomon and Estella VonBaer Goldberg.
She married Frank Dennis Francischine in Topeka, Kan.
Before moving to Gardnerville, she lived in Sacramento.
Mrs. Francischine was a retail owner.
She was preceded in death by her husband.
Among her survivors are her son, Frank David; daughters Francesca Denise Francischine and Ann Marie Springhetti; grandchildren Carly, Dustin, Tyler, D.J. Kiel and Dominic; sisters Rosalie Felske and Harriet Goldberg; brothers Daniel Gilbert and Kenneth Goldberg; and numerous extended-family members.
