A funeral service for Emma Lou Starley, 84, a Carson City resident for the past 15 years, will be held at 10:30 a.m. Wednesday at Walton's Chapel of the Valley.
Mrs. Starley died Nov. 11, 2005, in Carson City.
She was born July 5, 1921, in Gouldbusk, Texas, and was a long-time resident of Baker.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Elrod Starley, in 1976.
She was a member of the Christian Science Church.
Among her survivors are her son, Philip Elrod Starley of Houston, Texas; daughter Sheba Lynn Ellis of Dayton; granddaughter Alexandra Ellis of Dayton; grandson Ryan Starley of Long Island, N.Y.; and two sisters in Texas.
Burial will follow the service at Walton's Carson Gardens Cemetery.
