The following people were booked into the Carson City Jail. All suspects are innocent until proved guilty in court:
• Dennis Lee Vanderpool, 51, a construction worker from Carson City, was arrested at 9:34 a.m. Monday in the 1700 block of Railroad Drive on suspicion of felony possession of methamphetamine, prescription drugs without a prescription, misdemeanor drunken driving and possession of drug paraphernalia. Bail was set at $4,000.
The following are some of the calls to which deputies responded:
• A home in the 600 block of Hot Springs Road was found burglarized when the owner arrived home at 3:24 p.m. Monday.
• A purse was stolen from a vehicle in the 500 block of West College Parkway sometime before 7:25 a.m. Tuesday.
• A wallet was stolen from a vehicle in the 2500 block of Watercrest Drive sometime Monday night.
• The rope to the flag pole at St. Teresa Church was cut over the weekend.
Lyon County
The following are some of the calls to which deputies responded Monday:
• Hit and run report in the 900 block of Julia Lane in Fernley at 5:58 a.m.
• Gas leak report on Highway 95 Alternate in Fernley at 1:59 p.m.
• Accident on Main Street in Fernley at 5:06 p.m.
• Residential burglary report in the 2700 block of Tonopah Street in Silver Springs at 6:48 p.m.
• Noise complaint in the 800 block of Pony Express Trail in Mark Twain at 6:50 p.m.
Storey County
The following are some of the calls to which deputies responded Monday:
• A citation for passing in a no-passing zone was issued at 10:36 a.m. on South B Street.
• A man was arrested at 3:52 p.m. on suspicion of possession of methamphetamine on Dry Creek Road in Lockwood.
