Lucille Brotherton, 81, a Carson City resident for the past 20 years, died Nov. 16, 2005, at Eagle Valley Care Center. She was born Nov. 3, 1924, in Kenton, Tenn., to Bee Agusta and Maggie Evelyn Reeves Brown.
She married Maurice Brotherton on Dec. 17, 1944, in Tempe, Ariz.
Before moving to Carson City, she lived in Chino, Calif.
Mrs. Brotherton was the past owner/operator of her own real estate office in Chino. She was a past member of the Eastern Star in Chino. She enjoyed spending time with friends at SlotWorld.
She was preceded in death by her son Tony Brown Jr. in 2003 in China.
Among her survivors are her husband of Carson City; sons Tony Brown Sr. of Indian Hills and Sonny Brotherton of Minden; sisters Lewanda Lewis of Florida and Helen of Washington; three grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.
Cremation will be at FitzHenry's Crematory. FitzHenry's Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
