A memorial service for Lucille E. Weaver, 96, a Carson City resident for the past 27 years, will be at 2 p.m. Tuesday at the First Presbyterian Church with the Rev. Bruce Kochsmeier officiating.
Mrs. Weaver died Nov. 19, 2005, in Carson City. She was born Sept. 22, 1909, in Glenwood, Minn., to Louis and Louise Hauge Ostgulen.
She married John H. Weaver on May 21, 1927, in Los Angeles. He preceded her in death in 1996.
Before moving to Carson City, she lived in Glendale, Calif.
Mrs. Weaver was office manager for Prudential Insurance in Glendale. She attended the First Presbyterian Church in Carson City. She enjoyed gardening and her family. She was a member of the Natives and Newcomers Club in Carson City.
Among her survivors are her son and daughter-in-law Jack and Joy Weaver of Carson City; grandsons Alan and wife Vicki of Sedalia, Mo., Mark and wife Kai of Minden, and Gary and wife Peggy of Keauhou, Hawaii; and five great-grandchildren.
Capitol City Cremation & Burial Society is in charge of arrangements.
