Altair Nanotechnologies of Reno said last week it won a $250,000 grant from the Indiana Advanced Energy Technologies Program.
The company said it will use the money for production and test equipment at a new development and manufacturing center it plans to open at Anderson, Ind., in the first quarter of 2006.
