Roy Wise, 95, a lifelong resident of Carson City, died Nov. 26, 2005, in Carson City.
He was born Oct. 7, 1910, in Carson City, to William A. and Carrie Wise.
He married Lynette Wise in 1933 in Fallon.
Mr. Wise worked for the Nevada Highway Department for 31 years, retiring in 1974. He enjoyed fishing and woodworking. He was a past master in the Masonic Lodge in Carson City.
He was preceded in death by son Jerry R. in 1995, brother Earl and sisters Hazel, Sybil and Beryl.
Among his survivors are his wife of Carson City; son and daughters-in-law William S. and Mona of Santa Barbara, Calif., and David E. and Nilva of Carson City; nine grandchildren; numerous great- and great-great-grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews.
At his request, no service will be held.
Burial will be at Lone Mountain Cemetery.
