A memorial service for Sharon Elizabeth Tripp, 65, a Carson City resident for the past three years, will be at 11 a.m. today at Capitol Baptist Church.
Mrs. Tripp died Sept. 30, 2005, in Carson City.
She was born April 11, 1940, in rural Montebello, Calif., to Walter and Helen Chadwick Bell.
She married Donald Tripp in 1976 in Reno.
Before moving to Carson City, she lived in Silver Springs for 10 years and Waco, Texas.
Mrs. Tripp was a homemaker.
She was preceded in death by her parents and her husband on July 23, 2003.
Among her survivors are her daughter Lanie Stovall of Carson City; stepchildren Dorothy Collins of Myrtle Creek, Ore., Mike Tripp of Gardnerville, Patrick Tripp of Austin, Texas, and Kathy Tripp of Effingham, Ill.; sister Christine Bell of Missouri; 10 grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.
Cremation will be at FitzHenry's Crematory.
FitzHenry's Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
