Chris Broili has been named project manager of the New York Canyon copper project undertaken by Aberdene Mines Limited in Mineral County.
He will be headquartered at Hawthorne.
Broili has 20 years experience in minerals exploration and development.
He holds a bachelor's degree in geology from Oregon State University and a master's degree in economic geology from the University of Idaho.
