Vivian Lee Nickels, 81, a Carson City resident for the past 45 years, died Oct. 6, 2005, in Carson City.
Ms. Nickels was born March 22, 1924, in Mandan, N.D., to Rudolph and Anna Mickelson Teppo.
Prior to living in Carson City, she lived in Sausalito, Calif.
She operated a bar and health food restaurant. Ms. Nickels was an artist and made crafts.
Among her survivors are her daughter, Diana Douglas of Carson City; granddaughter, Denise Flynn; great-grandchildren Fernando Baltazar, Monique Baltazar and Al Seastrum; great-great-grandchildren Jacelyn and America; three sisters; and one brother.
No services will be held.
Cremation is under the direction of FitzHenry's Crematory in Carson City.
