Maureen Kilkenny, a professor at the University of Nevada, Reno, last week delivered the keynote speech at the Organization for Economic Cooperation and Development workshop on agricultural and rural development policies.
An associate professor in the Department of Resource Economics, Kilkenny is one of the most-cited scholars in the world on issues related to rural economic development.
She came to UNR from Iowa State University this year.
