Organizers of the 21st Annual Governor's Industry Appreciation Awards Nov.
8 at the Reno Hilton said last week they expect the event to be a near sell-out.
More than 700 tickets had been sold last week for the event, leaving about 250 seats remaining.
The Governor's Industry Appreciation Awards is co-hosted by the Economic Development Authority of Western Nevada and the Northern Nevada Development Authority in cooperation with the Nevada Commission on Economic Development.
Ormat Technologies, Inc.,will be recognized as the "Distinguished Business of the Year" during the awards event.

The event begins at 5:30 p.m.with a nohost reception followed by the program and dinner at 6:45 p.m.
