Owen Haveman, 35, a Carson City resident for the past two months, died Sept. 4, 2005, at Carson-Tahoe Hospital. He was born Nov. 22, 1969, in Mesa, Ariz., to Walter and Irene Demeter Haveman.
Before moving to Carson City, he lived in Minden-Gardneville for 10 years.
Mr. Haveman was an electrician for Arctic Electrical in Stateline.
He was a peacetime veteran.
He was preceded in death by his father.
Among his survivors are his mother; sister, Michelle Haveman Glover of Carson City; and brother, Walter of Gardnerville.
Cremation will be at Walton's Sierra Crematory. Walton's Chapel of the Valley is in charge of arrangements.
