The following people were booked into the Carson City Jail. All suspects are innocent until proved guilty in court:
• An 18-year-old heating technician from Carson City was arrested at 1:53 a.m. Wednesday in the 800 block of East Musser Street on suspicion of misdemeanor contempt of court. Bail was set at $500 cash.
• A 19-year-old unemployed Carson City man was arrested at 3:35 p.m. Tuesday at Imperial Way and College Parkway, on suspicion of two counts of failure to appear on a traffic citation. Bail was set at $242 cash.
• A 41-year-old heavy-equipment operator from Silver Springs was arrested at 2:25 p.m. Tuesday in the 100 block of East Long Street on suspicion of misdemeanor failure to comply. Bail was set at $1,000.
n Deputies responded to the following calls:
• An 11-year-old boy fell or was pushed by a playmate off a 7-foot-tall fence in the 3500 block of Stanton Drive at 5:12 p.m. Tuesday. The boy was taken by helicopter to Washoe Medical Center with a possible broken back. His name and condition were not available Wednesday.
• Two students were arrested at Carson High School on Wednesday at 8:36 a.m. for each allegedly possessing two knives.
• A racing harness was stolen from a garage in the 3900 block of Gordon Street sometime Monday night.
• Money was missing from a home in the 600 block of Hot Springs Road after a crew came to clean the vents on Tuesday at 9:08 a.m.
• Electric guitars were reported stolen from a home in the 1200 block of Kenny Way on Tuesday at 12:46 p.m.
Lyon County
Deputies responded to the following calls Tuesday:
• Accident in the westbound lanes of Interstate 80 and mile marker 53 in Fernley at 7:46 a.m.
• Battery in the 300 block of Traci Lane in Mound House at 8:07 a.m.
• Accident at 9:35 a.m. on Highway 95A and Silverado Road in Mason Valley.
• A misdemeanor arrest in the 4600 block of Highway 50 East at 9:44 a.m.
• Property damage at 12:09 p.m. on Winnie Lane in Fernley.
• Commercial burglary on Cowee Drive at 1:51 p.m. in Mound House.
• Grafitti at Mountain View Park at 2:57 p.m. in Yerington.
• Accident in the 500 block of Upper Colony Road at 5:05 p.m.
• An unwanted subject at McDonald's in Fernley at 7:12 p.m.
• A fight at 8:04 p.m. at Jack In The Box in Dayton.
• Accident on Dayton Valley Road at 10:23 p.m.
Storey County
Deputies responded to the following calls Tuesday:
• A neighbor in Lockwood reported at 4:13 p.m. a "6-year-old boy states he has a bone stuck in his throat. He is breathing and talking." The caller was transferred to REMSA dispatch.
• A man at Carson-Tahoe Hospital reported at 7:50 p.m. he was beaten with a bat in Six Mile Canyon.
