Yin Wong, 79, a Carson City resident for the past 30 years, died Sept. 27, 2005, in Carson City. She was born March 16, 1926, near Canton, China.
Before moving to Carson City, she lived and worked in Hong Kong as a housekeeper for British Foreign Service officials.
She enjoyed cooking, sewing and gardening.
Among her survivors are her daughter and son-in-law Penny and Dave Hampton of Carson City and grandson Dr. Michael Hampton of San Antonio, Texas.
Cremation will be at FitzHenry's Crematory.
FitzHenry's Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
