A team of University of Nevada, Reno, students studying agribusiness took top awards at the Western Collegiate Food Marketing Competition in Pasadena, Calif.
They were honored for a marketing plan for flavored gourmet beef patties, a product developed at the University's Wolf Pack Meats, an educational meat processing facility.
Jonathan Beitia, Brian Santistevan, Sarah Wise and Kelsey Chittock were the members of the UNR team.
