The Caughlin Professional Park Office Building at 4741 Caughlin Parkway has been purchased for $3.2 million by The Jack Stuppin Trust of California's Sonoma County.

This is the first northern Nevada investment by Stuppin, a well-known contemporary artist.

The 13,100-square-foot building was built in 2000. It was less than 60 percent occupied when Stuppin negotiated the purchase, but it's expected to be full by the end of September.

Dewey Struble of Sperry Van Ness in Reno represented the buyer. Scott Shanks and Dominic Brunetti of Alliance Commercial represented the seller, CM Land and Cattle Co.
